  1. Hi Benjamin,

Love all of these tools – I’ve used most of them before in a variety of use cases including meetings.

For note taking, I’m a personal fan of Evernote and have been a long time user. Also, it doesn’t fit into your categories above, but Asana can be great for managing tasks inside and outside meetings.

    Keep up the great writing!

    1. Hey Darin,

I’ve not had much success with Asana. I think it fits into the same category as Trello, but I don’t find it as intuitive. Maybe I’m just not the ideal user.

  5. Good information :). If you have a remote meeting where you need to get 20+ people on a video call, Zoom seems to be the winner, thus far. It has been able to handle 20+ on one video call without crashing, where Skype, Google Hangouts, and Slack calls don’t support that many people or don’t currently handle that kind of volume on one call as well.

  7. Apart from above 8 remote meeting tools, you may also have a look at alternative remote meeting tools like R-HUB web conferencing servers. It is an on premise solution which provides a simple and easy to use interface.
