  3. I’m seeing the treat employees as cogs for companies that also treat their employees as ATM’s. What they don’t realize is employees just like customers can either help or hurt your brand and or ability to attract top talent. Sites like Glassdoor and LinkedIn are places where people talk about how they were treated by their boss and/or company. Other potential employees review those ratings and make decisions on your company. There’s a reason why some companies post a job and get thousands of applications and others get a few. Companies that are great to work for are easy to find and so are unknown or those with terrible management ratings.

    1. Denise, you make an excellent point. The internet has made everything transparent these days, and it has become harder and harder for bad companies to hide from good employees.
